mysql checksum

I want to check if a record has changed in a myslq database. I'm interested only in changes made while the record is displayed.
I can do:

Code: Select all

hResult = hConn.Exec("CHECKSUM TABLE test")
but hResult!checksum is null.
Any advice would be welcome

Re: problem with SHELL

cogier's programme didn't work first time because, stupidly, I hadn't installed exiftool! Thanks also for suggesting the use of WAIT. I still get a null string when using ffprobe or ffmpeg. If I print the shell command, copy it and run it in console it works. Doesn't make sense. Anyway, exiftool doe...

Re: problem with SHELL

Thank you for the excellent code but it doesn't work for me. There is something strange with my system. The line:- Shell "exiftool " & User.Home &/ "Music/recordings" &/ "'" & GridViewTracks[Last.Row, 0].text & "'" To sData yields an empty string. I'm running Gambas 3.15.1 in Kubuntu 20.04 I'll try ...

Re: Any issues upgrading to Gambas 3.15 stable in Mint 19.3?

My kubuntu 18.04 automatically updated me to Gambas 3.15, I then started to get weird errors with several Gambas progs, mostly 'no mouse data available(or something like that) in places where mouse movement wasn't involved. The IDE is quite different too, form properties now has rather small icons f...

Re: View email message

Thanks vuott, the link was usefull in showing how mimemessage works but (so far) does not display messages properly. The example works fine with multipart/mixed type messages but not for other types.

Re: View email message

I should say that MailClient .Message.Body[0].ToString() does work but doesn't seem to deal with html messages, it show the raw html. I don't know if Mime.Decode would do the job because I'm struggling with it. Also MimeMessage is a possibility but haven't figured that one out. If there's a simpler ...
