Re: Hiding Application Launcher

On the Form's properties set the 'SkipTaskbar' to True. This will prevent Gambas showing the launcher on the Taskbar.

Gambas.One playground

Hi all,

Matt Collins, with a small input by myself, has taken the original Gambas Playground and changed it a little and now has it running on this site.

Check it out here http://gambas.one/playground/

But now you are using the 'Development' version V3.12.90. Was that your intention?

Re: Initial screen too big ...or is it just me?

Hi Steve, Your picture is 1.7MiB. I know we don't worry about these things too much but my picture, which I think is as clear as yours, is 216kb. The saving of disk space is important to me as that is what I pay for to keep the site up. I'm still on the 25GB package and all is well but if you can ke...

Re: Initial screen too big ...or is it just me?

I have just installed Lubuntu 18.04 (and updated it), added the ppa and installed Gambas 3.12.2. on a laptop with a 1366 x 768 display. The Gambas display was fine.

Maybe a reinstall of everything will sort it, if that's possible.

Re: using the progressbar ... foreground color

Cogier: your file does not download properly :(
I am sorry you can't download the file. I just tried and it all worked perfectly?

I'll let you know what happens with the bug report.

Re: using the progressbar ... foreground color

There does seem to be a bug here, I have reported it. I thought I could sort this by changing from gtk to qt4 but it makes no difference.

But there are many ways around this. Have a look at the attached.

Re: proxy servers

I am sorry that you have not received a reply to your post. I hoped that someone with more intelligence that me and understood your question would have given you some help (I had to Google 'Proxy Server' to find out what it was). However I thought that I might be able to point you in the right direc...

Re: Try replacing InStr with String.InStr if code is suddenly acting strange

i.e. does gb.IgnoreCase still equate to 1 on 3.12.x? My tests indicate that it does The following code shows that gb.IgnoreCase still works Public Sub Form_Open() Dim sToSort As String[] = ["A", "c", "B", "b", "a", "C"] Dim sIgnoreCase As New String[] sIgnoreCase = sTosort.Copy() sIgnoreCase.Sort(g...
