Re: Debian and Gambas (long read)
Been reading the mailing list... Guess I'll be packaging gambas 3.19.2 for the debian stable branch I planned.. ;) Hope I'll find me some time this weekend to , at least, to get started packaging. Delay was because I´ve been busy on a gambas3 library for exam creation, generation and management. It ...

Re: IDE packager question
Meanwhile I figured out that if I make the file executable in the .hidden folder of project and next have it placed in /usr/local/bin during install it stays executable. So, I got that working. But I' m still curious on how to use the additional configuration. Never used it and I have no idea how to...

Re: Debian and Gambas (long read)
I haven' t forgotten this, just didn't have the time yet to package and test a local file gambas 3.19.1 repository.
The gambas 3.18.4 local file repository is tested an working (see above).
My goal is to make 1 big file repository with both 3.18.4 (named long) and 3.19.1 (named stable)

Re: Debian and Gambas (long read)
I replied on the M/L Willy the free option of packagecloud could be worth looking into. https://packagecloud.io/pricing/ Yes, I read your reply and answered you and Lee. Meanwhile I had a short look at their offering for debian apt repositories. I'm not a big fan of ' free', favored by the fortune ...

Re: Debian and Gambas (long read)
Thanks for the replies. @cogier: Not up for hosting my own, lack the financial means atm. Concerning the repository: I have a all-in-one repository setup now providing gambas 3.18.4 for i386 and amd64 for both debian 11 and 12. I've got it hosted on my old pc running as server in my home network and...

Debian and Gambas (long read)
As posted on the gambas mailing list by me, but probably of interest to some of you here: --- Hi all, I introduced Gambas3 around about 2012 in the company I was working for at that time. Rolled out a network with Debian servers (I believe Debian 7 at that time) and some Linux Mint 17 clients. I wa...

Re: Gambas 3 and Touchscreen app
I'm going to spin up a Debian 12 vm which I believe has Gambas 3.18 Debian 11 has Gambas 3.18.0 in Backports and it does have the gambas3-gtk-webview and the gambas3-qt5-webview, so no need to go Debian 12. Add this to your /etc/apt/sources.list and your good to go: deb http://deb.debian.org/debian...
