Re: Odd Console Warnings
Thanks for the reply, SJSepan. In the past, when I've changed themes it always comes back with something changed that I can't get back to what it looked like before (if that makes any sense). They are warnings, and don't seem to affect the system when I compile to an executable and run it, so I am t...

Odd Console Warnings
I'm wondering if I have a setting wrong somewhere for Gambas 3.14.90. When I start a debug session and begin my application, I get warnings dumped onto my Concole panel. They are as follows: (Initialization:22434): Gtk-WARNING **: 18:22:17.864: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:27:35: Junk at end of valu...

Gambas3 example (LCD Label) won't run
Just to test things out now that I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 and Gambas (ver 3.14.90) is working in XFCE, I tried to run the LCD label example off the main page. I get an error that I never got before. Cannot load class 'Timebox": Multiple Inheritance As it is an example, it should probably run pr...

Re: Attempted update blew Gambas away
Okay. Here's the skinny. The upgrade to 18.04 was bumpy, but it happened. I fixed a constant nag for libreoffice-SDBC-firebird, then tackled Gambas3. The instruction I found https://www.linuxhelp.com/how-to-install-gambas-3-10-90-on-ubuntu-18-04 worked perfectly and I am back up and running. The GUI...

Re: Attempted update blew Gambas away
Another good answer. Thanks, Godzilla. If the first try (above) doesn't work, then I'll go to yours. I am relatively new to the terminal methods of doing things so some help on the actual commands might be a good thing.

Re: Attempted update blew Gambas away
Thanks, Cogier. I gave in to the nagging, so I'll give this a try right after the installation of version 18.04 finishes. This might also solve the problem. I saw the references to 14.04 in the error messages. I'm wondering if it was because I installed Gambas3 during that OS version, then upgraded ...
