Dear Gambas Team,
i'm a 40 year old c++ developper and i'm very interested in the great Gambas basic dialect.
I found your great oop basic in the net. And i recognized that there is a windows version out. But sadly the news about the windows version are from 27 Oct 2016
These are very old news.
My questions are now:
-Are you still working on a windows version?
-Are there plans for further windows versions in the future?
Best regards,
Plissken

Re: The great Gambas and its windows version
Hi, and welcome to the forum
Where did you read about a Windows version? The only one I know of is the Cygwin port. My experience with it is that it crashes quite frequently, except if you stick with a certain version of .... can't remember QT or GTK.
For Windows perhaps B4J is an option? It needs Java, but it is pretty cool too. And you can easily re-use code between Windows, Android, iOS and even SOCs.
For Linux - Gambas is #1 BASIC dialect

You are right the only Windows Gambas is the cygwin Version. I thought there are plans to port it to Windows.
