Has anyone tried B4A
? It looks super cool. Am trying the trial version, and feeling very much at home coming from Gambas. We should have a G4A

Can you post an .apk file to see your results or do you have to pay for the full version first? I have looked at 4BK but have been put off by the fact it is not open-source.

I have just played around a little, and compiled and uploaded directly to my device, but it seems full version is required to make APK files. The trial version is 30 days, full is $59, so not sure if I am going for it (yet). I am also trying out C#, which is free with Xamarin.
4BK? Or B4J
No, its not open source sadly...

I has been tried RFO-Basic for android. It's free and simple.

I have had a look at RFO but I found the IDE not very good and that you had to program on the phone or use a development kit did not help. However I did find a APK creator for it AND it's written in Gambas, but I can't get it to work. It is available here http://rfo-basic.com/x-quickapk.html

Thanks for the suggestion!
But, I am open to any viable open source Linux alternative.
