I think this is the correct place for presentations.

Hello, I'm Shordi from spain.
I'm coding on gambas since 2009.
All software on my company are written in gambas by me. I'm on my last year of work and now I'm forming a padawan to substitute me.
I haven't formal education on computing but working on it at full time since 1985.

Hope find good loving gambas people here!

Hola Shordi,
Welcome to the Forum as well.
How was Gambas used in your company ?
I used to write administrative software for a mining company in VB.net before I retired so interested to see how Gambas is used commercially.

A padawan is an apprentice of the gamba's force.

May the force be with you.

Well I've developed a program to control our clients (with relation with Bank account, payment, etc.), a program to control the Lawyer firm of the company and a program to control de company itself, (workers, timings, connections, computers, software running on computers, hardware, etc. etc.)
It has not been an easy road, when I came to this company all was windows piracy and 0 networking or servers at all. The hardest part was the workers clinging to window's software... but now, after 14 years all goes smoothly and everybody is happy.
The trick is create a linux-gambas culture in the company. After that, when everyone knows how it works, new workers learn by osmosis and I live much more calm... :D :D :D :D

Wow, so I'm not the only one to use Gambas every days :-D
I use Gambas for my own company since 2002. And, I can't imagine doing the same with Python.

Gambas have now near to 20 year old !!!... I feel so old ;-).
