Gambas on top ten programming languages
Gambas on top ten programming languages
Was looking around at the best programming languages for Linux and found one web site that included Gambas. While all the other languages had pretty much a laundry list of cons, Gambas had only one con listed. That one con was that it wasn't cross platform. Since you can run Gambas on Windows now I don't feel that cross platform will be a problem in the future.

Sorry it was a web site that listed the best programming languages in linux not the top ten. Gambas was listed as #9 in the list. But here is the link....

Lack of cross platform has always been the biggest con yes, though it is certainly true that WSL on Windows 10 is making it rather moot. Otherwise I certainly think it is highly under-rated. The only comparable IDE to me is Lazarus, and it is far less polished.
