I want to say Thank you! to all active forum members (such as Bruce Steers, Vuott and Cogier). You have enabled me to fully enjoy my switch to GNU/Linux. Here's a screenshot of my 'long time' work in progress:
It's my very own image viewer that just got a face-lift with custom controls. I have another program to rename my digital photos and create a date driven directory structure. I use this program for arranging any newly taken digital photos. The main features include adjacent image preloading + Nemo file-manager integration + easy switching through adjacent images and directories + easy relocation, duplication or removal of currently selected image. I also use this program to view my photo archives and extracting duplicates from them (jpg-files inside rar-files; The only archive format I know of, to support redundancy for storage media corruption tolerance).
Thank you guys for making it possible to create my very own image viewer

Looking good Jumpy
Happy to help dude.
We all once needed help and was just as grateful to get it.
Maybe one day you'll be here helping new coders migrate to gambas too

If at first you don't succeed , try doing something differently.
