Re: The DirLister Project

I have had a look at this program. I haven't quite worked out how it works but I will have another look later. Observations: - Line 7 Public CRLF As String = Chr$(10) & Chr$(13) You can use gb.CrLf for this. I saw no images as line similar to this point to a non existent folder PictureBox1.Picture =...

Re: Working with CSV files

Dim sData As String[] = Split(File.Load("MyFile.csv"), gb.NewLine, Chr(34), True)

Re: Read last line from Process

Hopefully it will help you. hProcess As Process TextArea1 As TextArea Public Sub Form_Open() BuildForm Go End Public Sub Go() hProcess = Shell "tree" For Read As "Process" End Public Sub Process_Read() Dim sLine As String Read #Last, sLine, -256 TextAr...

Re: Forum sections required

I assume that Charlie is the "Director" of the show so this I guess goes to him. I suppose I am, I do pay for the site which seems to be growing slowly and happy to do so. I want two sections added to "Board Index": Forum management and user requests Designed for Admin announcements, various reques...

Re: Help for a beginner.

Regarding a book on Gambas please look here at Gerry Buzolic's efforts. The section on printing has some drawing examples.

Also there is an excellent drawing program on the Farm that should help here.

Re: Create settings conf file at beginning

Have a look at the attached program that should help. http://www.cogier.com/gambas/Philippe.png Philippe-0.0.4.tar.gz I don't think you can control the way the Setting feature generates the config file (i.e. it always waits until your program is closing to do this, even if you put "Settings["Stack"]...

Re: error when launching gambas in manjaro

I downloaded Manjaro 19.02 XFCE 64Bit and installed it on a clean drive. I didn't do any updates. I looked on the web as I am not familiar with 'pacman', I'm an 'apt-get' guy! 8-) I was advised to install from the command line with sudo pacman -Sy gambas3 I answered yes to the next 2 questions. Gamb...
