Re: Bed Leveller (3D Printer Assistant)
Thanks for the quick test run. I now see how Cura is doing the temperature monitoring. Its sending a M105 periodically instead of setting up automatic temperature reporting with a M155 Sxx command. I managed to snoop this by starting up miniterm and sending a M111 S7 (this turns on echo, extra info,...

Re: Bed Leveller (3D Printer Assistant)
I'll be interested to see if the temperature monitoring works for you Steve. I am rather surprised at the 'mess' of a response my printer gives me. So I'm not too confident that this will work with very many printers. For some reason when I turn on temperature reporting, I get information send back ...

Re: Bed Leveller (3D Printer Assistant)
Released version 2.0.4. This new release now: Controls and monitors the printer's bed and hot end temperatures. Supports extruder retraction. Has many suggestions Steve offered within it. Improved form resizing. First time run check. Other minor bug fixes/tweaks. I've updated the first post of this ...

Re: The Gambas Intro Music
Yep. Wonder if we'll get eggs on Easter.
I hear ya on the switch. Guess you just need to start Gambas up in the morning and keep it running all day.

Jingle Jingle, Merry Christmas all!
Was waiting to hear what it was. Now going to wait until Easter to hear the other one. (Yes I could simply find the mp3 but that's cheating. )

Re: Bed Leveller (3D Printer Assistant)
For anyone in the future who comes across the above error. I fixed it by upgrading to the latest version of Gambas. See Scrollview Display Error thread.

Re: Scrollview display error
Lol! Thanks guys. But I don't think I'm worthy of the one liners! :o That works much better now. Don't need Tablet=true any more. I noticed a few other tweaks in the rendering of my program right away. Going to have some fun playing with it tonight. BTW, you will want to add apt-get remove "gam...

Re: 3D printer bed leveling
Ok I just went down an internet rabbit hole filled with 3D printer nozzles. Backing up a bit tho...When you showed me that worn nozzle on your website, jokingly my mind immediately went to "Why don't they make them out of tungsten carbide?" hehe. I use tungsten carbide tools all th...

Re: 3D printer bed leveling
If that is a standard M4 thread, then it would have a pitch of 0.7mm (which looks about right based on your photo). So I'm looking at about double the travel per rotation on the set up I have now. I don't expect you'd be able to scratch a glass bed with a brass nozzle. Break it, yes. But scratch no....

Re: Scrollview display error
Thanks for testing this out Bruce.
That must be it. I'm using my package manager's version, 3.14.3-2ubuntu3.1. So it appears I'm well behind the current version. I'll look at updating when I get home tonight and trying it out again.
