The default for Fedora is Wayland, and with it this is what you get.
I Know ..... switch to xorg, but if wayland is the future, maybe it should be fixed ?
Or is this a Wayland problem ... for them to fix.

Works as expected on my Fedora35 Gnome (wayland) are all your system libraries up to date?
wayland sucks and is just a "the future" wannabe, it's terrible I recommend using xorg.
using wayland will be at the expense of a whole lot of functionality.
there isn't even ways to position windows in wayland, Me.Left = 100 will do nothing on it and it's not a gambas bug it's how bad wayland is.
No window positioning is only one of the downsides to wayland, there are many others.
