A lot of preparations have been ongoing last days. A lot had to do with updating GambOS Software Center and Gambas Book 1.
Installing and updating from an online gambos repository is being tested, and it has a lot to do with preparing for the next build and the move from a local file repository to an online web repository.

Big advantage is that gambos software and guide updates become independent from iso building, as no new file repo with updates needs to be created for on the iso. This probably also means less frequent builds once gambOS iso is fine tuned.

With the updates and extra content to Gambas book 1, code snippets for in the new GambOS Learning Center and a complete website setup for launch all in place, I took the liberty to develop a new tool for myself to assist in iso creation and management of the builds.

So far, copy and edit highest build version template (a folder with configuration and customization files to build iso) is possible. Creating a new template for a next build will become easier and version managed properly handled. An second part finished, is create the actual build folder and pre configure and populate with configuration and customization files, all ready and set to start an iso creation. Only one more step needs coding to create the actual iso and place it at the proper location, but that will be for another day as it's already way past midnight here.

A few more GambOS applications will be updated upcoming days, before the new iso will be build for contributor team to test. It looks to be a very promising build that might approach a first public release really close. That all matters on how tests turn out.

A day further in and IsoCreator is creating it's first iso as we speak.
These are iso's to merely test my new gambas tool...

Now another tool, an iso editor is needed, to hack this created iso to meet my needs...
